A Verse for Home
The melancholy songs of yonder call to me
from a place I once called home'
where once my heart and soul were one
and joy was mine alone.
It is all dust now,
gone as the morning breeze
my little heaven on earth- just a memory.
My home,
my own,
my shrine all gone.
(dedicated the South Asian Tsunami victims for whom I send my heartfelt sympathies)
from a place I once called home'
where once my heart and soul were one
and joy was mine alone.
It is all dust now,
gone as the morning breeze
my little heaven on earth- just a memory.
My home,
my own,
my shrine all gone.
(dedicated the South Asian Tsunami victims for whom I send my heartfelt sympathies)
